One of my pro tips is, besides lerning with understanding and regular breaks between study sessions, is to write things down and speak it out loud at the same time (multible times; meaning till you can recall it by yourselfe, till you know it by heart), so you have 3 ways nearly simultaneousely to your brain (seeing, writing and hearing). Those things i even know when excited during an exam. I learned e.g. french that way, and recently after 13 years of not using it i was amaced that i could perfectly understand what was written in an theology encyclopedia/ lexikon?. That was hard work that lasted. I wish you all, all the best and much success with studying. May God bless you all abundantely.

Going to bed early, is also a good trick, cause the (stress) hormone cortilso in the body has a circardian rythm that starts to get higher at about 2 in the morning and then has a peak at about 8:30 in the morning, making you more awake and able to focs.

I really hope you reply to this as this year, my delusional self took 11 subjects at school along with a LOT of extracurriculars I've been doing since middle-school. I don't think I can keep up with all of them now. I've written down all of my extracurriculars: -Basketball and Track (Varsity level) -Arts and Crafts (digital as well as normal) (I attend a bunch of contests) -Dancing (for 5 years now) -Guitar -And occasional cooking (I'm in a Culinary Club) -Debating/Speeches (Debate club) -Writing (I've published a book and I write on Wattpad) Can you please suggest which ones I should drop or can you please tell me how to manage them all. I really can't get average grades this year. Please, I could really use your help <3.
okay i’m the person you atted but me and my friends do a really intense drama program and so i have experience recommending extracurriculars to drop. i would keep dance cause it show your commitment to one thing if you have an extracurricular for six or seven years on your applications but if it’s a toxic studio you should think abt taking a break. keep your varsity sports if you still like them because that’s a really good achievement. drop guitar as an extracurricular BUT keep your guitar so you can play it as a hobbyist for now. Writing and getting published while still in school is a big deal so keep doing that and cultivating your skill, it could turn into a career if you want it to. arts and crafts might be better as a hobby this year like guitar, but keep debate if you like it. cooking is a good skill so just go to whatever club meetings you can for culinary club and cook at home. remember nothing has to be dropped forever and high school is a time to have fun extra curriculars, so don’t overload yourself next year. i hope my recommendations help!

So do I actually learn how to solve questions or do I revise previous test papers and just use the formulas from previous test papers to solve the new test paper’s questions (hoping that no new questions come up and if there is I should just try my best to solve it with formulas.)

Hey Amy, I saw that you got a 760 on the GMAT. My experience with this test (now called GMAT Focus) is that hard work is not rewarded linearly. I.e. One could study for many hours and do tons of practice problem sets but the score on GMAT does not move much. Could you please make a video on how you managed to prep for the GMAT?
